Operation without a degree.

If one reads about a philosophy behind a control concept, one has to be wary. In most cases this means things start to get very complicated. The operation of a tractor should therefore be simple and as far as possible intuitive. The PowerComV operating lever holds practically all the key functions of the tractor in an ergonomically designed lever.

It provides for self-explanatory and logical operation of the functions in-line with the priorities experienced in practice. The functions for controlling the tractor are all within the view of the driver.
Furthermore, the Comfortip control management system is of such a simple design that the driver can program it even while working, enabling the functions to be called up again later. It enables the driver to program up to 16 individual function sequences easily and conveniently. All this is clearly displayed on the new I-monitor. Because what farmers want above all else is to get on with their hard work and not study operating manuals.

It makes clear what matters to us most.

It is not even 30 years ago that the central tractor meter was the sole monitor in the instrument panel of a tractor. There were limited functions and only a few manufacturers had any concern for the driver. These days displays of every shape with color for showing digital and analog information about operating conditions and the functions of the tractor are a matter of course and indispensable. However, there is always room for improvement.

Pragmatic as the engineers at DEUTZ-FAHR are, they are not interested in chasing after prizes for design but focus instead on service-proven solutions. This is why the driver can use the new I-monitor to; control and operate implements and attachments, integtrate ISObus controls, use the mulitmedia system and manage his telephone as well. The optional integrated reversing camera is not only helpful for manoeuvring and coupling, it also makes an important contribution to operational safety.
